FISSURE Collaborates With ESB To Host $1 Million “Elite League” Tournament

Tournament organizers FISSURE and ESB have come together to launch a new online Dota 2 tournament featuring $1 million in prize pools. The event is mainly sponsored by the bookmaker BetBoom.
Tournament dates
- Open Qualifiers: March 6 - March 9
- Closed Qualifiers: March 11 - March 16
- Swiss Stage: March 31 - April 4
- Round-robin and Playoffs: April 4 - April 15
Qualification format
Closed Qualifiers will be held in seven regions:
- WEU: 2 slots
- SEA: 2 slots
- EEU: 1 slot
- China: 1 slot
- NA: 1 slot
- SA: 1 slot
- MENA: 1 slot
Ten teams will advance to the Swiss Stage after Closed Qualifiers, and six will receive direct invitations. Eight teams qualify for the Round-robin stage, while eight will receive direct invitations.

The Dota 2 scene has received a lot of investment since the start of 2024. Fans are treated with more third-party tournaments than three Majors in the previous DPC system.
