TORONTOTOKYO risks missing TI due to kick from OG
Today TORONTOTOKYO left the OG roster. The announcement of the player's joining the team from Aurora on loan was made in April. In the lineup, he replaced Nikko.
The official statement of the organization reads as follows:
“OG confirms the end of TORONTOTOKYO's loan in our Dota roster. We want to thank Aleksandr for his hard work and efforts during the time he spent with the team. Even though the results did not go our way, we wish him all the best. We wish him all the best and will announce a replacement in the roster in the coming days.” the statement says.
The former offlaner of Team Spirit joined OG at the beginning of April. With him in the lineup, the team failed to qualify for DreamLeague 29 from the Southeast Asia qualifiers and also finished 9–10th at Blast Slam 7. It is not yet known which club’s roster TORONTOTOKYO will join; it is possible that he will return to streaming, although he has stated that he wants to attend The International 2026 as a player.
