Valve has issued invites for The International 2025 and announced closed qualifiers
Valve has announced the list of direct invitations for The International 2025 and provided details about the closed qualifiers for the tournament.
Eight teams that have qualified directly for The International 2025:

The remaining spots in the tournament will be filled by eight teams that advance through regional qualifiers, with the following regional distribution:

Open qualifiers will take place from May 31 to June 3, except in China, where they will run from June 2 to June 5.
The International 2025 will take place from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. This year, Valve has introduced a new system: from September 4 to 7, a three-day, five-round Swiss format will be played, followed by a round of elimination matches. The top teams from the group stage will advance to the playoffs, which will be held at the Barclays Arena from September 11 to 14. The tournament's prize pool is still unknown.
